Website design for translators and interpreters
Your language pairs, your specialisations and a quote within hours.
What your site really needs
Your language pairs
In both directions and with your level in each. It is the first thing clients filter by.
Your specialisations
Legal, medical, technical, literary, audiovisual. Specialisation is what raises your rate.
Certified translation
If you are certified or a member of a professional body (ATA in the US, CIOL or ITI in the UK), say so clearly. Certified translation is its own market, and a much searched one.
How to ask for a quote
What to send, document, deadline and purpose, and how fast you reply. In translation, the first person to answer with a serious figure usually wins.
The pages we recommend
-
Home
What you translate, in which pairs, and the quote button on the first screen.
-
Services
Translation, certified translation, interpreting, proofreading, localisation. With what each includes.
-
Get a quote
A form with document type, language pair, deadline and what it is needed for.
Frequently asked questions
Can clients upload documents on the website?
Attaching files to a form needs storage: custom quote. What is included is a form that collects the details and your email address for sending the document, which also keeps the conversation in your inbox.
How many languages can my website be in?
Two are included, and in your case it is the obvious choice. Each extra language costs €25 on top of your pack.
Should I publish my rates?
You can, and for certified translation it helps a lot because clients compare starting prices. For specialised work, “free quote within 24 hours” usually works better.
Does it help with agency clients?
It works as a calling card: your own website with your specialisations and certification positions you better than a profile in a shared directory.
